Kore: This is one sick setup.

Grant: You'll be fine. Your'e strong. As strong as he is now, and don't you forget it.

Kore: I won't.

Kore: You'll come to dinner with us?

Grant: Yeah. Pick out some jewelry from the case and wear it. Sometimes I think Eugene wishes he could wear the stuff he likes it so much.

Kore: This is enough. Perhaps it is magic. It gives me strength.

Narration(Kore): It's obvious that neither of them have the faintest idea who I am.

Narration(Kore): I sold Xander this stone.

Narration(Kore): My father didn't sell it to his.

Narration(Kore): My grandfather didn't sell it to his ancestors.

Narration(Kore): Only blood will get these out of the vault. Money isn't enough.

Narration(Kore): It's probably why I chose to vacation here...in the first place, to take another whack at the old San Francisco mystery. We've always had problems in this region. Telepath. Not exactly what I was expecting to find.

Narration(Kore): If Xander has erased my memory of the last few weeks...then he'll know it, and I'll just take it back. I have options.

Narration(Kore): And an army.

Kore: Ready?

Grant: Yeah.

Kore: Telepathy, remember Grant? Let's be civil

Grant: Yeah.

Author Notes:
