Chateau Grief 156

Marozi: So stop me if I miss anything...no broken bones. Not even hurt.

Marozi: --all a show to send a messenger over to the mainland-- create an impression in her mind -- so he wouldn't intervene -- to somehow let your friends and family know where you are -- a rescue-- hostage negotiators--

Marozi: And the Resistance will have sacrificed a very valuable healer-- you'll leave without helping us fight Xander--and you've tricked me into fronting for you to them--with no effort at all--simply because you knew I'd care--

Marozi: So here's to my boiling admiring rage.

Kore: What's this, your post-Xander currency? Ha! Your secret lair with bags of coins and bars of gold...

Kore: Masks off, Raphael.

Marozi: Do you have any idea what you're asking me to do, cold one?

Marozi: Time moves so quickly for you people. Here we've sat, he and I, for sixty-three years, moving downstream through the five great rivers.

Marozi: And now you appear as a rock midstream to redirect his course. I never would have seen it coming.

Marozi: A dark soul for the darkest of realms. And now you are here and...I see...traveling through space...

Marozi: ...an arrow. It will reach him and pierce his body...

Marozi: it will cut out his heart. And you will carry it to him.

Marozi: And he will begin to be...alive...

Author Notes:

I don't know what to say about this one.  Marozi works in mysterious ways?  From his perspective though, everything just went casters up. Whoops-y-daisy.

patreon last week was swag week, so we got a set of my five best painterly brushes that edited out of the brushes I’ve been analyzing, got the march palettes in all their calculated glory, ready to neatly import to photoshop for your design needs, some exceedingly useful seamless patterns, which I’ve found are the key to making those lovely painterly brushes in the first place, and some other textures that I’ve been photographing and working up for the 3d stuff. I also put out a to scale Euro BD Comic Layout Template, the one I’m using for Chateau Grief’s print version, with some golden rectangle/circular guides, and the panel layout guides for 2x2, 3x3 and 4x4 or any combination thereof. We also had basically an extra landscape pic that I painted for an upcoming comic frame of some really pretty purple wisteria flowers.  A quick couple of sketch ups of our lad Xander, who is taking the dramatic lead in the next section that I’m thumb nailing out.  The walkthrough of last week’s bonus pic, with commentary of what I learned, as usual.  And Chateau Grief 157 where Marozi is demonstrating that he can stop Xander’s heart with like, two syllables.  It was a busy week.  Thank you Patrons for making this so much fun!
