Narration(Xander):It's done. As expected, Grant is here to tell me how irresponsible I am.
Narration(Xander):I'm afraid that he's right. But who says you need a medical degree to play brain surgeon.
Narration(Xander): That's her scream echoing in ways only I can hear. She's fighting the anesthetic.
Narration(Xander): Grant is so angry that I think he's going to have an apoplectic fit.
Narration(Xander): But there's no going back. Unless I kill her. That's an option I'm sure Grant wouldn't approve of.
Narration(Xander): So, I've got him. He's lost already.
Narration(Xander): I didn't even have to force his mind.
Narration(Xander): Time to face the music and dance.
Thought(Grant): Can't see a thing in here. You'll ruin your eyes.
Grant: I brought Mr. Shane to see you.
Xander: Yes.
Narration(Xander): Get it over with.
Grant I didn't think you could even get drunk. Good to see it. Have another.
Xander: I'm not drunk.
Narration(Xander): Here's where selling the act is vital. He knows me too well.
Grant: Well?
Xander: I won't have a moron like Mr. Shane carrying on my legacy. I don't want to talk about it anymore. The surgery failed. That's all there is to it.
Narration(Xander): As if I've ever failed at anything. I don't expect him to remember this in the heat of the argument.
