Narration(Xander): Rhelan is a man’s man. He has great ideas.

Narration(Xander): In the cold light of day last night’s episode seems even more infuriating.

Narration(Xander): Why couldn’t I have kept my head? I had her in my bed.

Narration(Xander): Some quick thinking that was, springing up like I was attacked by porcupines.

Narration(Xander): I’ll have to replace this segment.

Narration(Xander): There might be a strange storm…—say a freak hurricane— that it might have to withstand one day.

Narration(Xander): I’m rather uncomfortably grateful she’d planned…the entire thing as a diabolical sneaky put down.

Narration(Xander): Considering how embarrassing it would have looked had she actually been serious.

Narration(Xander): Nail guns are so much more fun than telepathy I can hardly believe it.

Narration(Xander): My pride isn’t nearly as shattered as it might have been.

Narration(Xander): Especially now I’ve decided she’s not worth the trouble. She’s vanished and the town is too agitated for me to want to look too closely for her.

270 Episode Recap: Well whaddaya do when your world has been shattered and you’re mad as hell? Gardening. This was Grant’s idea. Xander starts of rethinking what went wrong last night. I mean, he started in a tuxedo and wound up shirtless arguing relationships with a bum. Personally I think all this could have been avoided if he’d worn black socks with the tuxedo like a normal person, but I digress. Xander is not great at self-examination and he quickly gets distracted by the rotting fence posts, as ya do, as ya do. So he rips out the bad ones and goes to rebuild the fence with some toys. See there’s method in Grant’s madness. Xander’s got the nail gun but forgot the air compressor so he makes one out of thin air and goes to alleviate him some stress like a proper gentleman. Kore is on the outs, and power tools are decidedly in.
