Chateau Grief 301

Narration(Xander): I don’t know how we got here. Crashing in the river, savaging a watching crowd.

Narration(Xander): I used to play in the surf by the seashore. Mom’s sharp eye watching from la Ventana de la cocina. Dad quietly snipping at die gelben rosen I’m hof.

Narration(Xander): A thousand eyes watch the dunking. Any moment her hand could have told me to stop but she doesn’t. She fought me easily enough before, had spent the whole night fighting Shane. Why would she strike this image for the crowd?

Beach Dude: Stop cheating Xander!

Lone voice: Here come the troopers!

Crowd: Let’s get out of here! Run!

Narration(Xander): It’s only Rhelan of course.

Narration(Xander): …a one man army.

Author Notes:

Two man army actually, but 50% of the troops were drunk and disorderly.

Characters: Xander, Kore, Grant

No bonus pic today.  I've been without power for days now and couldn't paint it.

Episode Recap:

Xander starts this one off with a bit of narration.  He’s confused.  Aren’t we all.   It all happens so fast, when it does happen.  So we’ve gotta genuine flashback for X which goes like this:  X is making little cute heart shapes for ghost Kore in some very very purple evening world.  Imma call it that he’s gone to Capitola Beach to play in the sand.  Oh he’s a bit younger.  And his nose is a lot bit straighter.  Put 2 and 2 together.  So he watches the waves roll in in that bonus pic I did a few weeks ago.  And he’s watching the evening and listening to seashells and things.  And he leaves the seashell in the waves and goes to play frisbee with the dog and the other guys.  And cheats.  Naturally.  The end.  Meanwhile Grant decides to scatter the entire crowd by introducing a rumor that the police are there to crack down on their activities.  Startled and horrified at the splashy splashy, the crowd dutifully scatters.  Which leaves Xander and Kore alone in the river together.
