Di: no no no!

Narration(Grant): Another frenzied insane beating let by Xander. And I had no idea how to stop it. Don’t run so fast, Di. You don’t want to see that.

Narration(Grant): I couldn’t believe my eyes. Xander in the river holding her head underwater. I should have expected it. But I’m not jaded enough.

Grant: What you don’t even have the decency to be injured?

Kore: No. Sorry I missed this. I wouldn’t have let them do it.

Kore: Look just say the word and I’ll get rid of it. You won’t feel a thing. Pain will be gone. Just give me permission.

Kore: I can’t believe I missed them doing it. I’ll tell you why later. I promised to look after you!

Di: Permission? You ask me permission? No I bloody well don’t give you permission!

Di: Look at what kind of people you are! How could you do this to us?!

Di: I can’t believe how much this hurts!

Well it’s mostly all over, and now Grant and Di are coming to satisfy their curiosity about what happened. Di’s a bit panicky and Grant is just…his usual horrified self I suppose. If there’s a crack in the armor, it’s only very very small. Kore is, of course, fine and furious and ready to heal Di if only she gets the green light. Di doesn’t want to be fiddled with. Kore got one-upped while she wasn’t paying attention during the riot and Di is the one paying the price. Well she’s getting kinda scary and Di is not happy. Di is not happy at all.
