Narration(Xander): Foolish of me to hope my words could cause him to feel some kind of shame, acknowledge even a bit of hypocrisy. He doesn’t see it the way I do. No one can. I’m the bad guy here, the inhuman monster.

Narration(Xander): Of course he’d mastermind a murder, he did it for me. It was just another cup of poison he’d drink for me, us all, the world. He’s been staring into a nuclear sun for over half his life. Ready to face whatever happens, come what may, all of it riding on his capable shoulders.

Narration(Xander): At least I’m as guilty as the rest of them. Plenty of days in my youth I thought about taking the world with me.

Narration(Xander): Damn them all and myself too for what they did to the world, my family, my folk, my country, my planet. And the only thing that’s stopped me are those very words Grant flings in my face, vengeance is mine saith the Lord, I will repay.

Grant: Look, at least talk with Kore, don’t get angry with her, just ask if she regrets it, learned something, I dunno.

Xander: Ha! Ha! Ha! Sorry makes it all better!

Xander: Rhelan, I’m not ambivalent about her actions, I’m relieved that she killed the crew that worked on her. I just never suspected she hunted them down and shot them personally. Made them die in agony!

Xander: I never suspected because she never thinks about it. Doesn’t lose sleep over it. She dreams of what they did to her, but killing them? No guilt.

Xander: Even given what I know about people, I still feel guilt when I have to be involved in an execution. Kore? None whatsoever.

Xander: Reptile indeed.

Xander: Don’t worry, you’ll get the fireworks you wanted tonight.

Xander: I’m not done with ‘Kore Smaragdos’ yet. When it’s over you’ll get what you want and she’ll leave us both alone forever.

Xander: I’ll make her hate my guts. I’ll make her rescue Shane and they’ll leave us all behind and be happy together.

Grant: I haven’t planned anything. I’m trying to restore peace and harmony.
