Xander: How old are you?
Narration(Xander): better address the biggest thing bothering me first.
Kore: At least thirty years younger than you. Why don't you think about that for a while?
Xander: Twenty-eight in June is it?
Narration(Xander): She should feel annoyance at the intrusion. But there's nothing. She's resigned to telepathy.
Narration(Xander): Does she know how far it extends yet? Will she discover tonight?
Kore: You? How old are you?
Kore: Why do you assume I already know?
Narration(Xander): Do you have to ask that?
Xander: I can't tell which of our hands is shaking more. What do you want? Youth? Beauty? Wealth? Power?
Xander: Surely I have enough power!
Kore: Don't you know? Gee I think, you're almost better looking than Rhelan Grant when you're scared.
Xander: Are you afraid I'll take your freedom from you? Is that it?
Xander: Was it those days in a cage without water or light? I can see everything your mind has to offer and I can't interpret.
Kore: So I have one secret left then. I thought you desperately loved surprises. Why don't we leave this one for later?
Kore: You want to get at least a week out of me don't you?
Kore: I've watched you run that very thought through your head more than a few times.
