Here comes the marines! Kore pushes her way through the crowd, scrambles up on Di’s little makeshift pyre and starts, y’know, oiling her way along a seashore with rocks in her mouth. But this is trial by a jury of your peers, and Di’s peers have several irrefutable factual points on their side. Lawyer jokes, you know the ones. Vacuums? Dirtbag on the inside? Well Saturday Puns are ended until I get my life in order, so Xander instead of seizing this hilarious wisecracking opportunity starts pressuring Kore to use her new psychic skillset to tell everyone not to smoke deathsticks and to rethink their lives. Kore instead decides to speak in technicolor which the crowd doesn’t particularly like. Xander is curious about how she’s doing it (hint: comic books are a visual medium), but she’s more interested in pointing out to the crowd how they’re shooting the messenger over Di and they should really be supporting her for sabotaging the government of that scallawag, His Moste Dredd Sovereign the Evil Overlord Xander.
